Description Tim Heinrich 2005-07-17 12:26:28 UTC
It would be nice if someone could write an ebuild for g2banking, the GTK2
Bindings for aqhbci. It is used in grisbi for example (optionally).

Reproducible: Always

Hi !
I have tried to make an experimental ebuild for g2banking, but there is a big
problem with this : it needs glade to compile ! Therefore I must have done a
very dirty hack to compile : use xhost to enable X connexion. Indeed, glade even
in batch mode (-w option) needs a X server running :'(

You can look at the ebuild here :
http://gentoo.xwing.info/net-libs/g2banking/g2banking-0.9.1_beta.ebuild

So problem are :
1) packaging must be changed : glade-2 must be run BEFORE packaging, not during
install.
2) gtk bindings for aqbanking seems to be unmaintained

g2banking is now integrated to aqbanking ebuild (so this bug can be either
closed or renamed).
But it has the same problem needing an X connection to compile glade source file.
Problem appear when using gtk2 use in aqbanking.

Sorry, I have forgotten to say : the concerned aqbanking version wich contains
g2banking is 1.6.0_beta
