Description Erich Wahl 2002-10-29 18:41:30 UTC
After emerging the new baselayout (1.8.4.1) and rebooting, received a "Failed to
determine module dependencies" error. This error occurs after
/etc/init.d/modules tries to call /usr/sbin/update-modules. The new baselayout
moves update-modules from /usr/sbin to /sbin. Recommend either the baselayout
ebuild puts update-modules in /usr/sbin or the /etc/init.d/modules script is
changed to point to /sbin/update-modules from its current /usr/sbin/update-modules.

/etc/init.d/modules is updated to have it in /sbin. You need to update the
._cfg* files. For more info, do:

 # emerge --help config.
