Description Michi 2002-10-29 16:53:36 UTC
there is no anti-aliasing in openbox 2.1.2-r1 with xfree 4.2.1
with xfree 4.2.0 everything works correct.
Comment 1 Matt Keadle 2002-10-30 00:55:20 UTC
Please make sure you have the following lines in your /etc/X11/XF86Config file:

        FontPath "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/TTF/"
        FontPath "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/truetype/"

They should be in `Section "Files"`. After adding these do paths, AA works fine
for me in OB 2.1.2 and 2.2.0. Please report a failure or success.

Failure :(

I had the fontpaths already with OB 2.1.2 and xfree 4.2.0
Remember Bug#:9541? OB wouldn't compile with xfree 4.2.1 ([xftlsfonts.o] Error 1)
You fixed it. I upgraded OB but now I noticed my AA isn't working in the menus
and windows (so I DO hav AA fonts in mozilla etc. )
Oh BTW the paths in /etc/X11/Xftconfig are also correct.

Happy hunting :)
