!!! ERROR: www-apache/mod_fcgid-1.06 failed.

!!! If you need support, post the topmost build error, NOT this status message.

After doing symlink to /usr/bin/libtool inside /usr/lib/apache2/build/ directory
compilation goes ok.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.emerge =mod_fcgid-1.06

Actual Results:
Fails because of lacking symlink in /usr/lib/apache2/build/ directory

Expected Results:
Emerge cleanly without doing links by hand

Just checked that x86 mod_fcgid-1.05-r2 version also has same bug, need fixing
in both. Thanks in advance for doing that.
Comment 2 Lance Albertson (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-07-15 06:20:26 UTC
Are you using the new-style apache layout? If so, I need to add the ebuild that
supports it. Just never got around to doing it since I didn't have that apache
setup else where. I'm in the middle of moving the next few days, so please wait
while I do that.

Cheers

Check https://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=79313 if you use a recent ~x86 apache.
Comment 4 Lance Albertson (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-07-15 06:49:13 UTC
Thanks for pointing that out. I may be able to squeeze this in this morning, but
I can't guaruntee anything. I believe I have the newer apache setup at home so I
can test there.

I believe this has already been taken care of. Please reopen if thats not the case.
Comment 6 Xavier Neys (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-12-04 04:54:14 UTC
FYI, it has been fixed, and 1.07-r1 is available and does work on x86, amd64 &
sparc.
