Description Igor Korot 2005-07-13 14:59:10 UTC
In the x86 Handbook, the USE flags location is incorrect. On the link
http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/handbook/handbook-x86.xml?part=2&chap=2 for
the "Code Listing 2" documentation mentions 2004.3 directory instead of
2005.0. Therefore it's not clear where I should look for the default permanent
USE flags.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open the Gentoo Handbook for the x86 processor family.
2. Go to the part, that describes USE flags.
3. Scroll to the "Code Listing 2"

Actual Results:
The phrase reads:
"Code Listing 2: Cumulated /usr/portage/profiles/default-
linux/x86/2004.3/make.defaults USE variable"

Expected Results:
The phrase should read:
Code Listing 2: Cumulated /usr/portage/profiles/default-
linux/x86/2005.0/make.defaults USE variable"

reworded to note that the provided example applies to 2004.3 only
Comment 2 Igor Korot 2005-07-13 20:50:52 UTC
What is corect place for 2005.0 global USE flags? Because the exact point of
checking it is to see what is missing or what user don't need in the system...
Comment 3 SpanKY gentoo-dev 2005-07-13 20:55:12 UTC
it's an example

simply swap on '2004.3' with '2005.0'
