app-misc/secure_delete-2.3.ebuild
Secure file/disk/swap/memory erasure utlities by THC

This is one of several good applications based on Peter Gutman's 1996 USENIX
presentation. This suite of utilities is released by The Hacker's Choice, a fairly
competent German security/hacker group. They include an actual copy of Peter
Gutman's presentation in addition to a comparison with other similar utilities. I was
very impressed with this implementation.

It should be noted that sfill and srm are pretty useless on a journalling filesystem.
There are, however, 2 other useful utilities for any system.

I also submitted an ebuild for wipe, an alternative. We should let the users choose! :)

Maybe it should be noted somewhere that if you are really looking to nuke your
sensitive/illegal data, you should use DBAN: http://dban.sourceforge.net/
