Description Akimov Oleg 2005-07-12 02:37:53 UTC
apache-2.0.54-r8.ebuild contains this:
einfo "Fixing permissions problem introduced in previous revision"
  find ${ROOT}/etc/apache2 -type f -user apache -exec chown root: {} \;
and doesn't contain apache user/group creation part (but apache1 contains)

if i didn't emerge apache1 or didn't create user/group apache before, i get
warning during emerge: "find: invalid argument `apache' to `-user'" and can't
run apache2 after emerge

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. install gentoo from stage1-x86-2005.1_pre1.tar.bz2
2. emerge apache

Actual Results:
1. warning during emerge:
 * Fixing permissions problem introduced in previous revision
find: invalid argument `apache' to `-user'

2. apache2 can't start, couse user apache and group apache doesn't exists

Expected Results:
"emerge apache" must add user apache and group apache when it is necessary

hmm. when we took the apache user out of baselayout and put it into the ebuild
it should have been put into both stable and unstable. it looks like it only got
put in unstable.

Fixed in CVS.
Thanks!
