cause was determined to be the use of a theme with firefox, specifically the
silver skin theme. firefox functions when using default theme
Comment 2 Matteo Azzali (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-08-22 09:10:31 UTC
Same here, further investigating gives that ANY gtk-app,
when using baghira as qt theme and qt theme for gtk,
will segfault just changing desktop.
(tested with gkrellm, I don't know if this apply to any or just any-SKINNED app.)
Comment 3 Stefan Schweizer (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-07-05 15:46:27 UTC
well, it was figured out it is the theme. I will mark this as fixed.

And FYI, I added a gtk-engines-qt cvs snapshot that should have some fixes :)
