I've written an ebuild for Sid Meyer's Alpha Centauri. It does _not_ include
include any fixes for https://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=31395 but seems to
work otherwise (at least for me).

Sweet... I had one almost done, but I'll use yours as a basis to save myself
some time, as I plan on fixing 31395 at the same time.  Unfortunately, I simply
haven't had much time to do anything other than release stuff.

This ebuild finally made its way into CVS, with a couple small modifications.
