Description Jussi Jääskeläinen 2005-07-11 02:11:49 UTC
Try to emerge phpmyadmin failed. Log can be found from http://www.jjussi.com/examples/phpmyadmin.emerge.errors
Comment 1 Jussi Jääskeläinen 2005-07-11 02:32:18 UTC
OK, then I tried:
emerge mod_php, no luck. Same error message!

Next I tried:
cd /var/tmp/portage/mod_php-4.3.11/work/php-4.3.11
./configure
make
make install

(OK, everything looks nice.. No errors!)
Again I tried "emerge phpmyadmin"... Of course it's not working.. It compiles
everything from the scrach... :-(

1/ You neglected to post emerge --info like you were instructed to when filing
the bug.

2/ In fact, I don't even know about ebuild is the linked log. Which ebuild
fails? Apparently *not* phpmyadmin.

3/ Post about 20 lines of emerge output you see before emerge fails.

3/ Don't link logs from outside, *attach* them to the bug.

Reopen once you have provided the needed information.
