I have installed samba-3.0.14a-r1 and clamav-0.86.1 on my server. When I enable the VFS interface to ClamAV in Samba, I get the following error: [2005/07/07 05:23:22, 3] smbd/vfs.c:vfs_init_default(206) Initialising default vfs hooks [2005/07/07 05:23:22, 3] smbd/vfs.c:vfs_init_custom(232) Initialising custom vfs hooks from [vscan-clamav] [2005/07/07 05:23:22, 5] lib/module.c:smb_probe_module(104) Probing module 'vscan-clamav' [2005/07/07 05:23:22, 5] lib/module.c:smb_probe_module(115) Probing module 'vscan-clamav': Trying to load from /usr/lib/samba/vfs/vscan-clamav.so [2005/07/07 05:23:22, 3] lib/module.c:do_smb_load_module(49) Error loading module '/usr/lib/samba/vfs/vscan-clamav.so': /usr/lib/samba/vfs/vscan-clamav.so: undefined symbol: vscan_clamav_log_virus [2005/07/07 05:23:22, 0] smbd/vfs.c:vfs_init_custom(259) Can't find a vfs module [vscan-clamav] [2005/07/07 05:23:22, 0] smbd/vfs.c:smbd_vfs_init(322) smbd_vfs_init: vfs_init_custom failed for vscan-clamav [2005/07/07 05:23:22, 0] smbd/service.c:make_connection_snum(524) vfs_init failed for service public Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3. Please remerge your stuff with sane CFLAGS (the set you have is definitely anything but). *IF* you still encounter this issue after that, please re-open the bug.
> Please remerge your stuff with sane CFLAGS (the set > you have is definitely anything but). *IF* you still > encounter this issue after that, please re-open the bug. Okay. But what do you mean with "your stuff"? This can be anything. Do you want me to remerge SAMBA and dependencies with sane CFLAGS or everything (world)? cheers Steve
