This fixes a bug that goes back to at least the 20050111 cvs release (I also was affected by the bug when installing the 20041019-r3 release on a fresh system). wine bug #2660 (http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=2660). I experienced these issues (cpu hogging / crashes / hanging) with Lotus Notes, but all my problems were resolved with this patch. Looks like the patch was put into cvs on 2005.07.01, so the next cvs release (after that date) should have it. I patched the 20050524 cvs release as the 20050628 isn't in portage yet. Unsure about the severity (blocker for me)... but the wine bug states it affects Unreal Tournament and some other stuff. Please feel free to adjust. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.
