Description Nik Raub 2005-07-05 12:37:27 UTC
When trying to decrypt a file using the kgpg editor under kde 3.4.1, kgpg
produces the error message "Decryption failed." and ... fails to decrypt. Note
that I have decrypted the same file using the kgpg editor under kde 3.3.2 many
times, and that decryption using the context menu in konqueror works perfectly

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. encrypt some file
2. drop the ciphertext on the little lock taskbar or just open it with the kgpg
editor
3. enter your passphrase
4. BANG!

Actual Results:
error message "Decryption failed." and ... fails to decrypt

Expected Results:
decrypt

I observed the bug both with gnupg-1.4.1-r1 and gnupg-1.9.15-r1 installed.

It seems this is a kgpg bug, not Gentoo specific:
