Description Thomas Schuetz 2005-07-05 11:46:27 UTC
I have a graphic-card with a mach64-chipset. It just took me more than 15 hours
until I found out, that I need to set the USE-flag "insecure-drivers". Would be
great if you could put some sentences about it into the docs.

And some lines with "einfo" in the x11-drm-ebuilds would be great, too.

Thanks a lot!

To clarify a bit, this should be required for mach64, unichrome or savage on
6.8.2, and mach64 or unichrome on 6.8.99.x. Savage DRI does not work on 6.8.99.x
now, but hopefully that will be fixed for 6.9/7.0.

I've added it to the guide. BTW, the USE flag is applicable to the xorg-x11
ebuild, not x11-drm.
