I guess 3.0.8 is no longer supported... See http://boinc.berkeley.edu/download.php

There's no 3.0.8 on the server anymore: http://boinc.berkeley.edu/dl/

It's time this package get's upgraded anyway (4.x was released some time
november last year...)

Comment 3 Marcus D. Hanwell (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-08-21 08:29:46 UTC
I have just committed setiathome-4.18 which depends on boinc. They are both in
the testing branch for amd64 and x86. Please report how well these work - the
old ebuilds will be removed in due course.
