I've just created efl+e17 overlay based on latest freedesktop cvs snapshots of enlightenment. It's not perfect but builds works, opposite to stock portage ebuilds. CAUTION: x11-wm/enlightenment ebuild should be rather x11-wm/e. I used the x11-wm/enlightenment because package name on freedesktop.org. Feel warned.

i wont add an ebuild for the enlightenment wm itself if you wish to build it (x11-wm/e-9999) then you have to use the cvs versions of all the other packages too

Remember to merge/upgrade libs in proper order since API has some minor differences from last snap.
