When selecting "Extras/Visualisation plugins" in the menu of Amarok, I get the message, that no visualisation-plugin could be found. In the shell I can see the message "sh: amarok_libvisual: command not found". This libvisual-ebuilds are installed on my machine: media-libs/libvisual, media-plugins/bmp-libvisual, media-plugins/gst-plugins-libvisual, media-plugins/libvisual-plugins. Did you re-emerge amaroK after installing libvisual?
Yes, meanwhile I've emerged amarok-1.3_beta3, but the problem is existing there, too. BTW: this are my installed livbisual-packages: media-libs/libvisual 0.2.0 media-plugins/bmp-libvisual 0.2.0 media-plugins/gst-plugins-libvisual 0.8.10 media-plugins/libvisual-plugins 0.2.0
Can you provide the output of 'emerge -pv amarok' ?

You have -visualization, so you don't have visualization plugins support, simple. Rebuild with +visualization and that should work.
