Description Alexey Parshin 2005-06-30 23:26:15 UTC
After start, mail-nitification shows a blinking icon (login error is shown in tooltip). If 'Update' command is clicked - mail-notification crashes. An attempt to send info to developer from Bugzilla dialog window gives a list w/o mail-notification.

Only one GMail account is specified.

This is printed in the terminal used to start mail-notification:

/usr/share/bug-buddy/gdb-cmd:2: Error in sourced command file:
Cannot access memory at address 0xc0852024

Here is my emerge info:

Quoting mail-notification homepage[1], Errata section:

"Because of recent changes in the Gmail website coupled with a programming error
in the Gmail backend, Mail Notification now crashes when checking a Gmail
mailbox. If you need to remove the offending mailbox and cannot access Mail
Notification anymore, start gconf-editor and edit the
/apps/mail-notification/mailboxes key."

Looks like we need to wait for upstream to fix this. Marking as UPSTREAM.
