This is an ebuild for the no-ip.com dynamic DNS updater. I use it, and I like to have all my tools handled by portage, so I created this. Attached is a tar.bz2 containing the tree to merge into portage.

Created attachment 13284 [details, diff] Patch for no-ip init.d script Running noip-updater-1.6 and Gentoo 1.4.2.9 the stop action of the noip init.d script will fail to set ip addresses to 0.0.0.0 during shutdown/reboot if net is stopped before noip. My fix is to add "after net" to the depend section of the noip script.

For some strange reason my noip-updater has started setting my IP's to 0.0.0.0 Can you explain the fix to me in dummy's terms please? It is driving me nuts. :( Ken - vk4akp@yahoo.com.au .-.-.
