rpc.statd, rpc.mountd and rpc.rquotad, will normally move around to the first available port they are informed of by the portmapper. To let people force these daemons to bind to a particular port using the -p portnum option, we might use /etc/conf.d/nfs. Atm, we're able to pass such options only for rpc.mountd. # Options to pass to rpc.mountd RPCMOUNTDOPTS="" This little improvement would make firewalling operations easier! Maurizio
