The variable ${CDBOOT} does not contain any value in bootmisc from live boot

it adds bootmisc in get_critical_services, otherwise the variable ${cdboot }
does not contain any value.

whatever bug you're trying to solve, this is not the way to do it

His problem is that he wants to create dirs in /var via bootmisc (see bug
#97215).  This is not the proper way - add your own custom nfsroot (or whatever
initscript to do all this initialization, and add it via
/etc/runlevels/boot/.critical to CRITICAL_SERVICES.
