Trying to update to the latest Psi 

ric@ric ~ $ emerge -u psi
Calculating dependencies ...done!
>>> emerge (1 of 1) net-im/psi-0.9.3-r4 to /
!!! Security Violation: A file exists that is not in the manifest.
!!! File: files/digest-psi-0.9.2-r1


i deleted the download .. it gets a new copy .. but same result 

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.emerge -u psi 
2.downloads 
3.stops with a security violation

Actual Results:  
Stops dead 

Expected Results:  
Should have performed the update.

I re-synced .. 

Warning gone .. 

Obviously fixed now .
Still the strangest thing i seen in a long time :)

Probably a emerge fail or something like that as i did not change anything.
