I had a different problem with 1.3.2, but 1.3.4 emerged fine.
Does poedit-1.3.4 with re-evaluated toolchain work OK now?
... or 1.3.2, seeing as 1.3.4 is still ~x86/~amd64 IF testing with 1.3.2 results in failure, then 1.3.4 would be useful to test.
Mart: is 1.3.4 ready to go stable as far as you can tell?
It's been around for long, and recently we just fixed the desktop icon, so it seems fine in my opinion to go into stabilizing process. I'm more concerned about stabilizing wxGTK/wxpython at first before apps (after seeing apps work against them), but in case of poedit, the last version available has been in portage ~arch since October 2005, so should be fine to stabilize.
Stabilization request is filed as bug #142612. Closing.
