Copying the alsa-xmms-0.9.5.ebuild file to alsa-xmms-0.9.6b.ebuild is sufficient
for the upgrade, digest looks a lot like this:

MD5 ec005e15325c4bc6271649b515e2c8d7 alsa-xmms-0.9.6b.tar.gz 168598

Incidentally, emerging this version seems to have cleared up some weird
(possibly glibc-2.3.1 related) issue for me which simply remerging v0.9.5 was
not correcting.

Am also using alsa-utils, alsa-xmms, alsa-tools, alsa-driver version 0.9.0_rc5
w/o issues, and it's worth mentioning that the alsa homepage claims they've made
a GCC3.2 compile fix.
