If you try to compile driver modules on a 2.6.12 (both the vanilla one and the gentoo patched one in the ~x86 profile), you receive a lot of error messsages. The problem is well known and there are two patches for 2.6.12 kernel sources on linuxant website. Could the build be modified in order to apply these patches?

if those patches are only for their package, I don't see why not.
however, that page requires a username & password. please send your auth info to
my email address.

Linuxant released a new version with the patches I required. The version number
is 7.18.00.05. Thus, it would be enough to version bumping the ebuild.
