Apparently mono debugger development is out of hibernation: http://www.go-mono.com/archive/1.1.8/ An up to date ebuild, along with a modified monodevelop ebuild, in the tree would be very nice. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce:
The release notes do state that it was supposed to be released in sync with the runtime, however, there isnt a source tarball or RPMs available yet, so we don't have anything to create a new ebuild out of.
Well that's, clumsy of them. Anyway, I did a little digging and found this: http://svn.myrealbox.com/viewcvs/tags/debugger-0-10/ If that's not the tag for the release the dates are one major coincident. The version number makes sense as well, and the NEWS file concurs. svn co svn://svn.myrealbox.com/source/tags/debugger-0-10/ will get you a copy.
Believe me, I know about this tag. I've already been doing some prelim testing based off of a tarball generated off that tag. None the less, we really can't do anything til there's something more concrete than a SVN tag. When a debugger tarball is actually official, fret not, there will be an ebuild update.
Guess I should have guessed. I'll get off your back then, and I'll try not to fret to much :)
Just in case you'd missed it, the source is now available here: http://go-mono.com/sources/mono-debugger/mono-debugger-0.10.tar.gz The link is from this page: http://go-mono.com/sources/
Also there's a new mono version (1.1.8.2) that fixes a lot of the issues with 1.1.8 andf 1.1.8.1 (Like Web Services problems).
