Description Herbie Hopkins (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-06-20 09:47:57 UTC
Upon upgrading to 2.6.12 kernel vmware-config.pl will no longer successfully build it's modules:

/tmp/vmware-config0/vmmon-only/linux/driver.c:37:25: asm/ioctl32.h: No such file or directory
/tmp/vmware-config0/vmmon-only/linux/driver.c: In function `register_ioctl32_handlers':
/tmp/vmware-config0/vmmon-only/linux/driver.c:239: warning: implicit declaration of function `register_ioctl32_conversion'
/tmp/vmware-config0/vmmon-only/linux/driver.c: In function `unregister_ioctl32_handlers':
/tmp/vmware-config0/vmmon-only/linux/driver.c:265: warning: implicit declaration of function `unregister_ioctl32_conversion'
make[2]: *** [/tmp/vmware-config0/vmmon-only/linux/driver.o] Error 1

Luckily this problem is already fixed in the latest any-any update (92) and simply adjusting the ANY_ANY varible in the ebuild is sufficient to fix the problem.

Fixed in 5.0.0.13124-r1
