Description Toralf Förster gentoo-dev 2005-06-20 04:27:15 UTC
Tried 2x to update kde to kde-base/kdebase-3.3.2-r3 with MAKEOPTS="-j2", but
failed. Switched to -j1 and it works. Here are the errors:

1st time:

Error 139 is a segfault

it segfaulted during src_install() where -j# is not used

chances are you should look into hardware issues
Comment 2 Toralf Förster gentoo-dev 2005-06-21 01:33:01 UTC
Ok, yes : I use a new notebook since 6 weeks, but the other 2 big changes were
using reiserfs for the whole system (before I used xfs for / all except /var and
had have a separate /var with reiserfs for the immense number of files portage
and others are using) and secondly I use the hardened-sources instead of
gentoo.sources.
I will close this bug and try to find out the problem.
