According to http://ftp.gnome.org/pub/GNOME/sources/gnome-applets/2.10/ the latest version of gnome-applets is 2.10.1. Just renaming the 2.10.0 ebuild works, this also fixes bug #90715 (gcc4 compilation).
you know we know about releases.
So if you know about releases, what is holding this release up? It fixes bugs and it doesn't cause any known problems (at least I cannot see any open bugs about issues holding it up).
maybe the whole team is MIA and I'm only attending the most important bugs with the limited time i have ?
Then if you don't have time for it, why don't you just ask for help? Just saying "I don't have time to look at it, but you can commit it if it looks sane" would be enough and would help much more. Beside that, Resolved later is not for "I don't have time to fix it now", but for "this can't be fixed at the moment because of other things holding it up, will take a long time".
What looks sane here ? I don't know, I'd have to check it out, but that would be as much work as adding it anyway. This is just a bump request which we get more often. It is not high priority, we will deal with it in time.
Did you actually read what I wrote? I didn't say you should look if it is sane, but you should ask others (e.g. me in this case) to do so if you don't have time for it.
well, real problem is that internally in the gnome team there's some more procedures we follow, so it's not really something we just pass out on a daily basis, but ok go ahead for this one.
Reopening to fix resolution.
