configure: exit 1
ncc-74656 ~ #

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge camstream
2.
3.

Actual Results:
econf failed, emerge stopped, camstream is not emerged

Expected Results:
it should configure, compile and install as it did the version before. Since
last install nothing has changed then my harddisk and the starttime of building
a completely new gentoo system (and with that, maybe the versions of a couple of
programs

Comment 1 Patrick Kursawe (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-06-20 05:49:13 UTC
On my system I have no problems building camstream.
But on my system the variable CBUILD is not set (as I noticed after quite some
time, upgrading gcc and doing other things to get my system as close as possible
to yours).
After setting it (as it is on your system) compiling failed.

Did you set this variable? If yes, why?

Since CBUILD is AFAIK only intended for cross-compiling, please just don't do
it. If you had a good reason to set it, please re-open this bug.
Comment 2 Patrick Kursawe (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-06-20 06:23:57 UTC
Sorry, was just informed that current portage perhaps is the culprit.
Comment 3 Patrick Kursawe (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-06-20 07:09:41 UTC
A fix is in portage now and should reach your mirror within the next hours.
Please re-open if you still have problems. Thanks!
Comment 4 Ralph 2005-06-20 12:57:01 UTC
Thanks a lot for the very fast response. The ebuild now works fine for me.
