Description Alois Schmid 2005-06-18 14:53:59 UTC
I emerged the latest flightgear (0.9.8) under amd64. The ebuild process finished
without a problem. But when I try to start flightgear, i get the following error
message:

/usr/games $ fgfs

Base package check failed ... Found version [none] at:
/var/tmp/portage/flightgear-0.9.8/image//usr/share/games/FlightGear
Please upgrade to version: 0.9.8

When looking at the fgfs binary, there is still a path pointing to
/var/tmp/portage...

Seems that during the ebuild process, the wrong path to the base package is set.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. fgfs
-> as user in the games group

Actual Results:
Base package check failed ... Found version [none] at:
/var/tmp/portage/flightgear-0.9.8/image//usr/share/games/FlightGear
Please upgrade to version: 0.9.8

Expected Results:
flightgear should start up
