Hey ho! I've attached the gopdit-0.2.4.ebuild file. GOPDIT (GOP accurate eDITor) is a "no frills" MPEG2-PS editor. It lets you cut and merge clips. It's especcially usefull when you're using MythTV (or a Hauppauge PVR x50 with IVTV) and want to cut out the commercials of your recordings. GOPDIT's main advantage is that it works without recoding the video (and thus without loss of quality). By leaving out lengthy preprocessing the performance is even a bit faster than GOPchop. Requirements are libmpeg2 and qt. I'd suggest putting it in media-video/gopdit Thanks! -Andreas

Please fix the following and reopen: * http://dev.gentoo.org/~ciaranm/docs/mw-faq/redundant.txt (src_compile) * http://dev.gentoo.org/~ciaranm/docs/mw-faq/quoting.txt * http://dev.gentoo.org/~ciaranm/docs/mw-faq/docfiles.txt
As this works a LOT better than gopchop, I took the time to fix this ebuild =) I'll also attach an ebuild for the current development version (0.2.6). (as I can't reopen it, somebody who can please do. No need to clutter bugzilla with a dupe)
