The ac-sources description is: [13:44:36 alexander@server:~] $ esearch ac-sources [ Results for search key : ac-sources ] [ Applications found : 2 ] * sys-kernel/ac-sources Latest version available: 2.6.11-r1 Latest version installed: [ Not Installed ] Size of downloaded files: 36,310 kB Homepage: http://www.kernel.org/ http://www.gentoo.org/ Description: Alan Cox's kernel, mostly stuff destined for mailine or RedHat's vendor kernel License: GPL-2 Neither Google nor I know the word "mailine". In the case of me, that's not really a wonder, since I'm not an English native speaker. None the less, I'd prefer, if a more common or easier to understand word than "mailine" could be used.
That's supposed to read "mainline" aka, the vanilla kernel.org kernel. ac-sources is also in serious need of a version bump, I'll update it to the latest ac patch and fix the typo soon.
Great, I can't find any annoucements for ac7 or even ac6, anyone know what 2.6.11.y patches are included in ac7?
typo fixed, and ac-sources are updated to ac7 plus 2.6.11.12
