We don't need manifests and we don't want tarballs. Only plaintext ebuilds, please.

I can maintain this, if this ebuild is still used :D. So my question is: anyone is using it?
Comment 11 seraph@xs4all.nl 2008-09-04 21:14:03 UTC
Well, I guess it should first be officially introduced into portage, so more Gentoo users will know it exists, nyet? Not everyone is using their own overlays...

That said, it's the only Master System emulator for Linux that I know of, and I'm still fond of an occasional game of Phantasy Star. So yes, I'm using it. There are probably other retro-gaming Gentoo users out there, although admittedly I never met any. :-)
Comment 12 trbecker 2008-09-04 21:46:22 UTC
I opened a pool on the games forum to see if anyone uses it. Meanwhile, we could give a try to maintain it. I didn't know that this wasn't in the portage (I've been inactive for a while in the gentoo community :)).

might want to do:
MY_P="Osmose-${MY_PV}"
then use that in the variables

the dogamesbin needs "|| die"
