Description Brian O'Reilly 2005-06-13 12:30:28 UTC
the psycopg ebuild (1.1.15) is failing on a checksum error. I have fixed these
kinds of errors in the past by moving the portage tree out of the way and
resyncing the system, but in this case, the error is persistent.

I then manually added ~amd64 to the accept keywords for the 1.1.18 ebuild, and
got exactly the same error:

infiltrator psycopg # emerge psycopg
Calculating dependencies ...done!
>>> emerge (1 of 1) dev-python/psycopg-1.1.18 to /

!!! Digest verification Failed:
!!!    /usr/portage/dev-python/psycopg/psycopg-1.1.18.ebuild
!!! Reason: Filesize does not match recorded size

>>> Please ensure you have sync'd properly. Please try 'emerge sync' and
>>> optionally examine the file(s) for corruption. A sync will fix most cases.

dunno why no one closed this, but i can't reproduce this, maybe it was a transient error.
Comment 2 Brian O'Reilly 2005-11-07 14:08:32 UTC
This bug went away after an upgrade.
