Enemy Territory 2.60 is not compatible with previous version 2.56-r2 and etpro-3.1.0. Enemy Territory 2.56+Etpro mod 3.1.0 (are at the moment) necessary to the clans for playing Enemy Territory in cups and ladders (see www.clanbase.com). So this ebuild imho would have to be available until that www.clanbase.com does not certify the new versions (Enemy Territory 2.60+Etpro mod 3.2.0) and starting to use them in their cups. with this ebuild present (2.56-r2) a player could choose to install the old certified version for cups or the new version (2.60) for fun! That version was removed from portage due to security issues so it will not be coming back to portage. You can download the old ebuild from the view cvs area of gentoo.org but that is, of course, not recommended and unsupported.
