kio-clucene is a fulltext and metadata search kio-slave for KDE.  It uses     
CLucene (C++ port of Lucene) to index documents.  Here is an ebuild for it :-)    
    
kio-clucene is quite a young project and is not particularly stable at the   
moment, so there's certainly no hurry to get this in portage.  Take your 
time :-)

I withdraw my support for this bug.  This program hasn't made any progress for   
a while now, and it looks like its functionality will be present in the next   
major release of Kat (the projects may even merge).   Someone can reopen if 
they would still like it.

Agreed with Rohan; additionally, gcc-4.1 has issues with this package. After some patching, I'm giving up- there's too many broken places in this package. Feel free to reopen this package if upstream attention is given to it.
