Can't reproduce, tried to use same *FLAGS but it didn't change anything. That symbol is defined by xdotool in its own libxdo.so (in xdo.c) and does not seem to have any special conditions, being missing sounds quite odd ("should" be impossible at a glance). Just to be sure, you *are* running the xdotool that emerge installed right? (and not some old copy laying around in $HOME or /usr/local) To be sure, run: type -P xdotool lddtree /usr/bin/xdotool First command should show /usr/bin/xdotool, and the 2nd one have a "libxdo.so.3 => /usr/lib64/libxdo.so.3" line if everything is normal. If normal, maybe seeing xdotool's build.log could help (these get deleted from /var/tmp/portage by default if successful, but can prevent that temporarily by doing FEATURES=noclean)
