Description Chris Carlin 2005-06-08 13:41:46 UTC
This is just an enhancement request. While we're adding extra patches to psi,
could we include the patch to allow on-the-fly or even automatic priority switching?

See http://psi-im.org/flyspray/index.php?do=details&id=144 and
http://psi-im.org/flyspray/index.php?do=details&id=237

unless i dont understand how flyspray works there are no patches to do that,
just some talk on how to do it.

Supposedly there's a patch somewhere. I guess I could have linked to this in the
first place...

<a
href="http://psi.affinix.com/forums/index.php?act=ST&f=4&t=2579&hl=priority&s=91c08a13b8d4a97ec8c20b93b9ed4cad">here</a>
is a thread on the psi forums talking about it. Some notable quotes:

<blockquoteThere is a patch for Psi (still waiting to be applied on official
Psi) which enables changes of priority without a need for disconnecting. [Note:
it was made by Enleth as a resolution for one of FlySpray tasks].</blockquote>

and

<blockquote>Another patch for Psi, already done and waiting [Made either by
Remko or Spike, I don't remember].</blockquote>

I made a little search for these patch(es), but couldn't find anything useful.
Could you please provide a link for them?

Przemek

No, I have no idea where actual patches are. All I know is in the links I posted
that included a guy saying that he had created such a patch.
