After today's update I have run into this:

 *  - /usr/lib64/libdisplay-info.so.1
 *      used by /usr/lib64/libaquamarine.so.0.5.1 (gui-libs/aquamarine-0.5.1)
Use emerge @preserved-rebuild to rebuild packages using these libraries

Adding a slot operator to libdisplay-info would save users doing another emerge.
As it is not an urgent matter I do not open a PR but just open a bug

It means you have a broken binpkg if it's built against the old but installing on a system w/o it.
