The ebuild file
Comment 2 Bart Verwilst 2002-09-01 05:15:12 UTC
KDE ebuilds use eclasses to install, please check out some other KDE ebuilds, and see how they do it. (with "inherit kde-base" and such). If the new ebuild is correct, i'll be more than happy to add it to the tree. Thanks!
Comment 3 SpanKY gentoo-dev 2002-09-04 15:47:43 UTC
modify the ebuild to use kde inheritance and then it shall be added to portage
after the 1.4 release
Comment 4 Hannes Mehnert (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2002-11-18 07:15:49 UTC
Paul: do you want to make a new ebuild that we can add it to portage?

New version with need-kde 2 stuff

I was playing around, and created this new ebuild.
Comment 6 Dan Armak (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2003-04-08 12:52:04 UTC
I tried making an ebuild for kwave, the new kde3 version (again). No wonder this is still here
after all that time. It has a highly nonstandard Makefile.dist replacement that won't let me run
configure directly and that i can't make obey --prefix=/usr instructions. This'll have to wait
some more. Eventually it'll be nice to have a kwave package as it seems a powerful &
full-features app, but - as they say - after 1.4 :-)
Comment 7 Paul de Vrieze (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2003-06-08 08:03:41 UTC
Setting the status to LATER, as I don't care about it anymore, and we have better things to do.
