GNU Parallel displays a nagging "citation" message until you run 
"parallel --citation"
and enter "will cite".

Or this, which is quicker:
touch ~/.parallel/will-cite

This might be funny once but it is quite annoying when you have several machines and user accounts, as it disrupts shell scripts.
Most Linux distros patched the software to remove this annoying feature.
