atm, bash-completion-config only depends on bash. emerging applications that depends on bash-completion-config (via bash-completion.eclass) doesn't bring bash-completion up. can you fix this ka0ttic please? Thanks.
No. This is done on purpose. bash-completion is not a requirement to use bash-completion-config. Packages that use bash-completion.eclass can install contributed completions (and users can then use them) without the need for bash-completion proper. There may be some users who dont want all the other crap but only want a completion from one package.
Sorry, my fault. I didn't knew that sourcing only the bash-completion file provided by a package was enough to make it work. I though /etc/bash_completion was mandatory for some reason.
