I don't know if this only applies to the latest version of Spotify but local playback works with 'media-sound/spotify-1.2.59' and 'media-video/ffmpeg-7.1.1' installed.  The 'local-playback' useflag on the ebuild has long explicitly required 'media-video/ffmpeg:0/56.58.58', forcing you to use an ancient ffmpeg version.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Emerge 'media-sound/spotify-1.2.59' with useflag 'local-playback' disabled
2.Emerge 'media-video/ffmpeg-7.1.1'
Actual Results:  
Local playback works in Spotify with current ffmpeg version despite the ebuild requiring a much older ffmpeg version.

Expected Results:  
Playback should not work if an older version of ffmpeg is actually required
