Description Grzegorz Kulewski 2005-06-06 08:56:40 UTC
It looks like 2005Q1 portage update moved ("@") fpc to fpc-bin. But could
somebody tell me why this update run again yesterday after emerge --sync and
moved my dev-lang/fpc-2.0.0_rc2 into not existing dev-lang/fpc-bin-2.0.0_rc2???

I am sure that I had dev-lang/fpc installed before sync. Unmerging fake
dev-lang/fpc-bin and merging dev-lang/fpc again helped. But this is workaround -
what if 2005Q1 will attack again?

Reproducible: Always

Comment 1 Gustavo Zacarias (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-10-06 10:52:38 UTC
The move was because fpc-bin is deprecated, it shouldn't happen again, it's a
one-off situation.
