works for me too!
I've got it working here as well. However for some reason it downloaded a html file instead of the distribution file, so I downloaded it by hand and dropped it in my distfiles directory. Other than that it's fine.

Should not this be done from inside Eclipse using the update manager instead of having ebuilds for all binnary plugins? e.g. (For you that are new to eclipse) In the menu select "Help"->"Software Updates"->"Find and Install" Select "Search for new features to install" and then "Next>" Click on "New Remote Site" fill in Name: <whatever yopu like e.g. "CDT"> URT: http://download.eclipse.org/tools/cdt/releases/eclipse3.1 then "OK" Select the "ew site e.g CDT and then finish Folow the installation and later you have to select a new directory to store it in (someware in your home directory) if you don't run Eclipse as root (and I hope your not). I have tried both this and the the ebuild above both work ok for me.
Version 3.0.2 (different ebuild) added to Portage.
