Emerging pipewire-1.4.1 failed with thin-LTO enabled in /etc/portage/make.conf. I observed that ninja tried to use ld.bfd even though I added '-fuse-ld=lld' into LDFLAGS. It was built without a problem when gcc toolchain was used. Note that the bug might not be confined to pipewire: similar errors have been observed some other packages using meson/ninja such as zstd.
