Description Dietmar Hofer 2005-06-05 16:32:44 UTC
When I try to load the page "http://www.go-mono.com/docs/" in Konqueror 3.4.1,
it crashes with Signal SIGABRT.
Switching JavaScript off prevents it from crashing.
I tried the same with Konqueror 3.4.0 on Ubuntu. There it doesn't crash, but
there also the left frame (which uses JavaScript) doesn't work, so it seems
not the fault of my build.
Btw: It doesn't seem to be the same as Bug
"http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=78058", at least I can't reproduce the
problem described there.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.
2.
3.

Comment 1 Gregorio Guidi (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-06-06 06:02:07 UTC
Cannot reproduce it here, the sidebar has only the "Mono Documentation title",
but no crash.
Comment 2 Dan Armak (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-06-29 14:04:20 UTC
Doesn't crash here either, tested on x86 and amd64.

Comment 3 Dietmar Hofer 2005-06-30 04:04:47 UTC
Well, if it doesn't crash there... but does it display the site well (I mean
the sidebar)? The issue isn't only, if it crashes or not, but if it displays
the site well - at least I think so.
Comment 4 Dan Armak (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-06-30 05:09:33 UTC
It doesn't display the sidebar properly; as Gregorio described, only the title
'Mono Documentation' is shown, not the topic tree.
But your crash is a separate bug altogether, because it's a crash and because
we can't reproduce it. It's what we should try to investigate further.

As for
the page not being displayed correctly, that should go as a bugreport upstream,
it'd just be nice if someone running upstream HEAD told us whether it's already
fixed there first.
Comment 5 Caleb Tennis (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-07-14 10:22:33 UTC
yeah, you should report this to bugs.kde.org so they can fix it.
