Description Mervin 2025-03-03 05:18:55 UTC
When emerging RetroArch, as retroarch, the emerge fails - saying the ebuild cannot be found. All other ebuilds are lowercase, and commands like `qsearch retroarch` work, so this failing can cause confusion.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge --ask retroarch (must be lowercase)
Actual Results:
The emerge fails with an error saying the ebuild cannot be found.

Expected Results:
The emerge should find the RetroArch ebuild.

This occurs if RetroArch is spelled with any other casing (i.e retroArch).

Not really a bug, and not all the other ebuilds are lowercase. There are close to 2000 mixed or upper case ebuilds in the main tree. This ebuild simply respects upstream spelling.
