I recently had a need to use /etc/conf.d/net to include a route add line, specifically routes_eth1="-net 59.144.0.0 netmask 255.255.254.0 eth1". Anyway the point is that I needed to search the file /etc/init.d/net.eth0 to learn about the availablility of the routes_eth? (routes_IFACE) option. This was after searching for any specific documentation on the /etc/conf.d/net file. An additional commented out example in /etc/conf.d/net showing that the routes_IFACE option is available would of helped me and will be helpful others in my opinion. Regards, Warren.
